POWDER DREAM
The knock year, of life and strife
attention, unwanted or prized
and thoughts that you don’t remember
for not the way it always seemed
‘coz it was just a powder dream.
.
Close eyed dreams, make us think
close eyed dreams, may make us shrink
sleep, some more
sweet or sour
sweet, to swell; sour to sink.
.
As wise men say, dream is the start
not to dream is not to live
for once it was true, but daytime too
with eyes wide open, past or present
but alone you cannot, need to be two
you go back to the world
you think real, and not the swirl
laugh off the sorrow, forgetting the “been”
‘coz you thought it was a powder dream.

hmm... negative optimism mean though you write dark, there is hope. not the happy go lucky type optimism. So is negative and positive making a positive here? dunno...
hmmm.... this is comprehensible... par tere standard ka nahi hai... u had written so much better in the past.. uske hisaab se, its a bit plain... that's why i say, don't give such long breaks.. u mite want to expand ur genre now..
